I recently lost my Beautiful Babies. One Cockatiel and one Conure because I used nonstick reynolds aluminum foil on the broiler. My birds were dead in 30 minutes. They deny their product is responsible, but I have since found out that this has happened before. Until that day I had never used it . It killed two different species in separate cages eating different food. I have also heard about self cleaning ovens doing the same thing when the self cleaning mode is on. We already know about Teflon because all the books warn us about this. I warned reynolds I was going to warn all the bird owner I can until they decide to take responsibility for their product by putting a warning label.

Thanks Janice.

And I'm flabbergasted. For the first month or so this article was up, there were no pictures what-so-ever. Now there are!

I wonder if someone came along and ninja edited it for me? If they did, thank you!

As for cats and birds, they -can- co exist. But it means going out of your way to keep the cat and bird separated when you have birdie time, and some people just don't have enough hours in the day for it. :)

Looks like fun... but I'm afraid my cat would eat one of these birdies. Nice article, though... I somehow am able to see the pictures. (I see above you mentioned that they're not here)

@Mitchell,

Thanks very much, I'm very glad that you took the time to do so, and have gotten back to you on my blog, just in case you miss it though--it seems I am following the correct steps to include images with my articles, so as to why they aren't showing up? It's a mystery I guess. :)

Thanks again!

Once again, I'm not sure what happened--I'd like to apologize to any readers that come to this for the lack of images. I had included several pictures I had taken of my own wonderful bird, Nugget, but they've apparently been eaten. ;)

Also, I'm not sure why all the apostrophes have been replaced with quotes! Thanks for your patience and thank you to whomever liked this article!
