We’ve all heard that it is best to feed our pets a decent brand of dog or cat food. At the same time, we’ve been told not to feed our pets anything else especially table food. We have long been promised that our pets will be strong and healthy if we stick to this feeding plan. This is simply untrue. We have also been told that commercial dry dog and cat food is a better choice than commercial canned food. This is also untrue information. Those of us who have dogs or cats in the family can not easily forget the tragedy that struck almost two years ago with a number of commercial pet foods making our companions ill. Many dogs and cats died due to this tragedy. Its not uncommon to find rancid meats and oils in commercial pet foods as well as dissected animal parts.
