All of a sudden, a plane was crashing downward up from the sky. Unfortunately, the pilot was unable to control the plane. Things had turned into a mess. The items in the cabin were thrown all over the seats and I heard someone screaming.

Crying, pleading for God, despairing voices were also heard from behind me. I could clearly see disappointment, fright and sad expressions written on every face.

Scene 2

I suddenly recalled someone telling me that before their last breath their lives flashed before their eyes.

First, Jack saw some unforgettable days in front of him. They were the moments of his wedding and divorce days.

Next, Lisa saw a moment when her husband was sleeping sweetly with a secretary in their bed.

Tom saw a scene during which his boss fired him off his job in front of his colleagues.

Kiwi saw her favorite dog urinating on her favorite bikini.

Roy saw his mom fighting fiercely with his dad days and nights.

Michael saw a familiar bed he slept on for years. He had been under mental treatment by his psychiatrist. He clearly saw the whole treatment he was going through to cure his chronic depression.

Wendy saw a moment when she was being hugged by a guy and her husband was holding the hand of a girl younger than her walking by just close to touch.

Lilly saw the baby she abandoned on a seat of a train.

Sam saw his body being injected with a strong medication. Beside him, there were three doctors trying painstakingly to rescue him in an ICU room. He had been in coma for hours.

Scene 3

Not long after that, the plane was able to fly horizontally from its tilt position. The plane was under control and everything seemed to become normal again. It was flying slowly as though it was a crawling tortoise trying to reach the finish line in last place.

Everyone who underwent a scene of their own life experience had remained calm and silent. In the midst of experiencing painful moments only a few hours earlier, some were finding it difficult to regain their composure. But later, I heard them taking a long breath.

At this moment, from the last seat, Louise began complaining the food sold in the plane was tasteless. Randy who was sitting in front of Louise, was trying to purchase all the duty-free merchandises from  pretty flight attendants.

Maggie looked intently at her face in a mirror for quite a long time, and she was pondering whether she should undergo plastic surgery to make herself looked like either McDonald or Michael Jackson.

Sitting in the middle row, Pearl was confused whether to purchase mutual funds or market bonds. From the left fifth seat in the plane, William was quarrelling with Michelle for not agreeing upon the same political ideology.

Kate tried to ignore the snoring sound from her neighbor’s seat, and she closed her eyes attempting to forget the event of her mischievous cat which made her red bikini wet with a smelly urine.

Melisa licked her lollipop greedily and since she was small she began wondering why everyone in the plane acted strangely.

Oh well, I thought, perhaps this is the nature of our species!
