His name is Tobby, and he is a brown tabby that stays inside, for reasons you will soon learn. He has a sister, Abby, who is a gray tabby, and quite intelligent for a cat, but more on her later.
Tobby is scared of the vacuum. Normal for animals, right? But is it normal for the animal in question to wet himself, and then violently attack the vacuum itself? It seems to me that this isn’t normal cat behavior. If he is lying down on something elevated, like a ledge or a couch, and you begin to pet him, he becomes very happy, and then rolls around until falling off and hitting the floor. This happens almost every time someone pets him. He has also played dead before, falling on his back and drooling if someone suddenly comes around a corner. His favorite activity is by far climbing the drapes, and then getting stuck so that I have to pick him up, at which point he becomes a vicious little bugger, and I get covered in cuts. He has also ingested various objects that are not part of a healthy diet. A wood chip (surgery required), a crayon, an eraser and a very large beetle have all been swallowed by this cat with a stomach of steel. I don’t think he realizes the reason he’s always coughing things up.
