Sphynx Cats

Sphynx is a unique breed of cat as it has a lack of whiskers, eyebrows and hairs making its appearance weird. In fact, they do have hair but it is very short. Like other cats, it does have whiskers and eyebrows but they may appear either in whole or broken. In some cases, the eyebrows and whiskers may be found absent among some other breeds of Sphynx.

If you plan to keep a Sphynx as a pet, you need to bathe it once a week or it will get smelly since it has inadequate amount of hair to absorb its accumulated oils and debris surrounding its skin folds. Also, you need to clean its ears at least once a week as its ears tend to accumulate more ear wax due to lack of hair in its ears.
Savannah Cats

Savannah cats are larger breeds of domesticated cats that are a crossbreeding of domestic cat and a serval of large eared African cat. From shoulder to toe, they can be measured around 45cm in length.

Savannah cats are loyal to their owners and they are even friendly to new cats, dogs and even people and thereby they are regarded as a super sociable cat. They are very intelligent and can be trained to walk on a leash. Surprisingly, they are very athletic and known especially for their jumping ability. They commonly greet people with an unexpected pounce and sometimes with their head-butts!
Khao Manee

Being one of the most expensive and unusual breeds of cats, the Khao Manee is marked with a notable feature of its unique blue and amber eye resembling silver and gold. Originating from Thailand, this completely white body (and hence its name “white jewel”) Khao Manee is also a symbol of royalty and luck.
Minskin Cats

A minskin cat is a rare new breed of dwarf cat but with outgoing and playful characters. It is bred from Munchkin, Devon Rex, Burmese cats together with a Sphynx breed and has been around since 1998. It is a sweet natured cat and gets along well with children, dogs and even other cat.
Teacup Persian Cats

Teacup Persian Cats make a perfect choice for a family pet as they are adorable, cute and beautiful. They are relatively minute in size and only grow around 6-7 lbs in weight. Despite its minute size, they are quite popular among pet lovers.
The Japanese Bobtail

The unique features of the Japanese Bobtail is its short pom-pom tail (or bobtail) resembling the rabbit-looking tail. It is also cherished, characterised as an active and energetic cat and thus it is being loved by many families. Amazingly, it can even hop just like what a rabbit does!

Considered as a symbol of good-luck charm in Japan, the Japanese Bobtail is shaped as a maneki-neko statue with one raising paw deemed as the “beckoning cat” found in front of most stores and restaurants in Japan.
Munchkin Cats

Munchkin cats are regular cats with relatively short legs and are a product of the genetic mutation (also known as achondroplasia) causing significant deformation in their spines. The deformation is so obvious that they look abnormal with relatively stumpy legs but with a quite larger head.
Devon Rex

Devon Rex appears as a nappy-haired cat characterized with its distinct feature of massive eyes and ears. It is a unique and intelligent breed of cat that has a relatively short, soft and curly coat making it a great choice for a family.
Scottish Fold

The Scottish Fold cat is unique for the folds in its ears which is said to be caused by a natural gene mutation and that is why its ears is folded up to three times. However, its kittens are not born with folded ears. The folding in its ears start to develop on about the twenty-first day after the birth, starting with its outer edge of the ear near to its base. It prefers to doze off in its owner’s chair or just attach to its owner and enjoys staying indoors.
Pixie-Bob

As a breed of housecat, Pixie-Bob appears to be a small domesticated bobcat. It can be easily trained to walk on a leash. Even though Pixie-Bob has a wild appearance, it tends to develop exceptionally strong bonds with a family. It also likes to travel in a car with its owner. It can be left alone for longer hours but it prefers to be a part of a family member.
