Labrador Plus Askal Breed Equals Labraskal Puppies

Labraskal Puppies are the mixed breed of labrador retriever and askal dog. Ever wonder what a labraskal puppy looks like?

Labraskal Puppies are the mixed breed of labrador retriever and askal dog. Ever wonder what a labraskal puppy looks like? I will show you. But let me describe first what each breed looks like.

A labrador puppy is a strongly built, very active dog. They have smooth, thick fur all over, which can be yellow, black or chocolate colored. Labradors have medium length drop ears and a brown or black nose. They are easy to train and are good in children and other dogs. Enthusiastic tail-wagers,they are dogs who enjoy simple being around their human companions. They love the water and love to carry things in their mouth.

An askal puppy is basically a stray dog in the Philippines. Askal is the Tagalog contraction of the word “asong kalye” meaning dog streets. Generally,an askal is a medium sized dog with a longer and tall body. They have a short dense coat that can be of any color. These dogs have various ear types. Some would have pricked ears, others would have droopy and rose ears. Eyes can be varied shaped and colored as well. Tails are long and thick at the root . These dogs have long thin legs.

Now here are the labraskal puppies:

They are just almost a month old in these pictures.

This one is Pororo. He is already more than a month old here.

This one is Fluffy,my favorite among the three.

This is peaunut. We call him peanut because of his color. He is the favorite of my baby daughter.

Labraskal puppies are the mixed breed of labrador retriever and askal dogs. Our dog, named Catherine, is a labrador retriever who made love with an askal and so labraskal puppies came out. As for their appearances, they are more likely the askal puppies. Well,I guess I cannot really tell it now since they are just more than a month old. It’s for you to judge. Can you see whose breed is dominant?

OH…I missed my dog. He was a Labrador, too! He got sick, not eating when I left home for a job in the city. After 3 months of being away my mom simply informed me that he died. Thanks for sharing!

Labraska….bago yun ah. In fairness, maganda talaga i-breed ang Pinoy sa kahit anong lahi, mapa- tao or aso LOL!

I think it’s 50-50. They are cute just the same. They can be likened to Eurasian or Fil-Am beauties.

I love this post for three things. Yes you have venture and made your first The Real Owner article. Secondly, you are a dog lover and lastly, ang cute ng mga pupppies mo. Di ako nagbibiro, pwede mhingi yung isa. Mahilig talaga ako sa dogs. May hap-hap akong Golden Retriever. BTW kung hindi ako magkakamali ang foreign term ata sa Askal is “Mongrel”.

We have these kind of puppies they’re a little bigger now. They are hyperactive and playful it loves to stick around our feet. When they’re big they don’t look like askals but more like labrador retrievers.

    On June 30, 2011 at 3:42 pm

hi! what was the color of your lab?
our yellow labrador bitch just gave birth to a litter full of black puppies, we tried to breed it with a black lab but weren’t really sure if it was successful but she did get pregnant.. so anyway, she had interactions with askals so parang were really not sure if the puppies are pure since some of them had mismarkings. although the coat of the puppies seems really shiny like our black lab so maybe he’s the father nga but its too early to tell by their built so im trying to deduce na lang by color. so did you have a yellow lab? kasi white yung pups mo eh. our bitch is yellow pero lahat talaga ng pups black, so pure kaya sila?
