Yorkshire Terrier (yorkshire) originally belonged to the dogs bred English poor in the 11th century. He could hunt rats and rats, and thus their original mission was to accompany miners in mines and mills, where he worked as a ”Pied Piper“.
Transition from working dog to dog luxury at yorkies occurred in late 19th century.
In 1886 the breed was officially registered in English Kennel Club under the name Yorkshire terrier.

Coat: Moderately long and smooth
Character: Lively, spirited, well balanced dog, companion. It can be very sharp, stubborn, courageous, alert but on the other hand, kind and playful dog.
Suitability for children: It is an ideal friend, loves children.
