Litter Train Him/Her
Bunnies can be litter trained. They are clean animals and like to do their business in the same place over and over again, so once you work out where this place is just put down a litter tray. Make sure you put some newspaper beneath it to catch any litter that would be kicked up by playful digging.
Buy a Clothes Brush, or Two
Not only are these handy for taking off any unwanted rabbit hair of your clothing they are also great for cleaning your carpet. Vacuum cleaners and brushes may find it difficult to remove any hay that bunny may scatter on the carpet, so get down on your hands and knees and give the carpet a bit of a brush.
Give Him/Her a Good Brush
Pet hair is a nightmare to get out of carpet/clothing/furniture, so giving bunny a brush to take off all that loose hair is an essential. Also it is a great bonding activity that the two of you might enjoy.
Bunny Proof Your Stuff
Bunnies like to chew. They will rip up paper, socks, tights, toys and anything else they get their little paws on, so make sure you put everything away and out of reach so both your possessions and your bunny will be safe. And most importantly, make sure there is no wires around for them to chew on.
