Bettas are one of the most popular aquarium fish amoung people all over the world. They are easy to care for, and don’t require much room. A common but unexpected problem faced by many aquarium owners is what those bubble things that your betta is making are. That is why I am writing this article.
Those bubble things are called bubble nests, and they are perfectly normal. Bubble nests are made by male bettas sometimes when they get to prime breeding age. If they were to breed, the female would lay her eggs, and then the male would catch them and put them in the bubble nest. If you don’t like the look of it, so can simply take it out of the aquarium. It will not harm anything.
