Chances are they know the problem did not just occur after the dog got out and can tell it was a problem before hand, and the dog was suffering from neglect. They said come back tomorrow. We were at church the day before and called the SPCA right away in the evening. I went right away the next day and they said they could not let him go because his ears were bad. I have a vet and I wanted my pet. What do i do? I adopted my dog from an animal shelter. She was found as a stray. They kept her for two months and was about to put her down because she was deaf and half blind. She is a senior citizen. It is so sad that so many animals have to be put down because people don't care enough to have them neutered or spayed so that they will not over populate and end up with this horrible fate.
