WORCESTER – Darius, three-year-old rabbit was crowned as the biggest in the world. Darius has a weight of 22 kilograms and 121 centimeters in length.
In one day the giant rabbit that ate 12 carrots in order to stay healthy and strong jumps. Once crowned as the biggest rabbit, Darius’s body reportedly extends several inches. Exactly on this day, Darius celebrate his birthday.
Darius owner, Annette Edwards, claimed to have time to maintaina large rabbit, but not as big as the giant rabbit. The 60-year-oldwoman said pet dynasty came from a giant rabbit that looks like a monster.
“In February, the vet said to measure the body of Darius and Darius continues to expand. Sometimes I feel a monster rabbit. Combination of diet and activity of Darius making it bigger,” said Edwards, as quotedby the Daily Mail, Sunday (08/04/2012).
Darius is the son of Alice, the rabbit was also crowned as the biggest rabbit. Darius grandmother, Amy, also had to bear that title.
“Unfortunately Amy was gone, but it would have been proud tosee a record that earned her children and grandchildren. Manypeople ask me, what is the secret of raising rabbits. I think the secret just look after him well and keep it,” her added.
A spokesman from Guinness World Record looked amazed by the size of Darius’s body. Darius is also much larger than the rabbits that had the title of world’s largest rabbit.
