Pet Iguana care.

Our son recently turned five years old and he is very responsible and loves animals. He already has a betta fish and helps with its care and upkeep. Maybe it is time for greater responsibility and an additional pet.

We are considering getting a hamster for him.

Iguanas, bearded dragons and other lizards have very sharp claws to enable them to easily climb trees. Trimming these claws regularly can be done in less than 10 minutes, and will make handling your pet much easier and safer.

Often people buy these as cute baby lizards, only to come to the realization that they get huge. They are not a pet for everyone. Please be prepared.
