Cats and birds can be kept together as pets but it is not an easy thing. Indeed some cats have a very strong desire to chase and kill birds. It is only fair we remember that by natures own design cats are strongly attracted to birds. For best results a person should have the birds first and introduce a young kitten.

Generally speaking cats will not eat plants that are poisonous, however there are some cases where a cat can be killed by a plant they have not eaten or by eating a normally safe plant that has been treated with chemicals. If you have a cat and have house plants, or allow your cat outside, this is a must read.

Is it fair to let the government decide which dogs live, and which dogs die based on breed only?

People new to breeding pets are often confused when their pet delivers its young and either ignores them or kills them. Sometimes the problem is owner error, and other times the pet just does not want to be a parent.
