Outdoor Only Pets
Some pets do very well to live outdoors all year long. I am not talking about a discarded house cat. I am referring to wonderful animals like Pheasants, Donkeys, Llamas, Ducks, and Sheep.
A Labrador, as we know, is a breed of dog used for retrieving ducks, or as a companion pet. Like all dogs, they are descendants of wolves. They are hunters. A llama, on the other hand, is a peaceful plant eater. They are the hunted. Being a hunter or hunted results in one behavioral pattern owners of such animals need to be aware of.

Anyone can have a cat or dog, but all the real cool kids ask their moms and dads for a pet sheep. Heck all the real cool moms and dads already have sheep for pets, and environmentally friendly lawnmowers. I know I do.
It takes a special person to own an exotic pet. Make sure you are ready, not only for your animal’s requirements, but for the negative criticism from the community.
Sometimes kept for guard or for fiber, Llamas and Alpacas make unusual pets. Anybody can own a cat or dog, but for a really cool pet try a Llama or Alpaca.
